acceptably cleanfaulty lightno staff
my room was acceptably clean.
There was no staff on site. finding someone to assist with a faulty light was impossible. it really affected the overall experience. I felt quite isolated.

the history sounded intriguing when i booked the hotel, and the location was nice. the downstairs areas seemed like i had walked back in time. i saw lots of photos and memorabilia on the walls. there were rooms where you could sit and read, or have tea.
The final staircase seemed a bit of a safety hazard with a suitcase. I'm not sure it meets british requirements.

the staff members were friendly and helpful ! emilia, on reception, was a pleasure to chat with in the morning. i really appreciated their assistance and attentiveness.

the hotel has a very tranquil location! it's about a ten-minute walk to the beach, which i found perfect. it was easy to access the seafront, and the hotel even provided directions for convenience.

the room i stayed in was very nice and neat. there were soft towels available in the bathroom for use. the hotel provides toiletries in the bathroom, i found this convenient.

i found the access pin system really good and secure. it was easy to get to the hotel from the rail station. there was interesting historical information displayed around the hotel, a great addition.
